XML Aggregation :: Threading
http://fudforum.org/forum/index.phpindex.php?t=rview&goto=161547&th=119051#msg_161547
I've recently started to try to use the XML aggregation. It can be very powerful and when you combine it with something like yahoo pipes you can do an awful lot.
I've been experimenting with using yahoo pipes to take a usenet feed, filter out only posts that I'm interested in, create an RSS feed, and then pull that into my forums. In general it works though I'm still working out the details.
It would be nice if the messages would be combined into threads. I'm not sure how difficult that would be but it would help clean this up a bit.
Cheers,

Sounds like a good idea. I'll see if I can get to it before the next release.
Is this what is mentioned in the 3.0.0RC1 release notes as:
Allow XML Aggregation to load replies into a single topic (complex_reply_match).
If so, how/where do I enable it? I am running 3.0.1 and the XML messages don't thread.
