How to Disable "Topic Description" Being Displayed [message #158086]

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to disable the "Topic Description" that shows up--both when creating a new message and when viewing.

I find that entry confusing and I don't really understand the difference between that and "Title". And more importantly, it's not part of a news group message and I'm mirroring a bunch of news groups.

There are several ways to do it:

1) If you can use the field for something else, like a product version or so, just change its description in your "msg" file and recompile your themes:

post_descr:                     Topic Description:

2) Remove the line referencing "post_descr" from your theme's "post.tmpl" file and recompile your themes.
