Quote:
Archive did not pass checksum test, CORRUPT ARCHIVE!
If you've encountered this error it means that you've:
downloaded a corrupt archive
uploaded the archive in ASCII and not BINARY mode
your FTP Server/Decompression software/Operating System added un-needed cartrige return ('\r') characters to the archive, resulting in archive corruption.

i've ftp'd the file using ASCII and I still get this error Sad

Get a new copy from sorceforge and give it another go.

Let me guess, you're using FileZilla as the FTP client ? If so switch to another FTP client, I always ran into this problem when I used FileZilla. If not try another client anyway (I used SmartFTP client without any problems, free trial version)

Filezilla does have a function for Binary use, but it is not set as default. As a general rule I always use Binary when transferring.

Was that accompanied by slapped forehead moment because the solution was so simple but you just looked right past it?

I know the feeling
