You may notice that the whois info for IPs only works for US IPs. Not much use for people with loads of E.U. ROW users.

So, attached is a script that will return those. Just edit ip.tmpl and replace the frame source to something like

<iframe src="/someplace/ip.php?ip={VAR: ip}" width="600" height="400"></iframe>

or where ever you placed the script.

Hands up time. I am about as much of a coder as Atilla the Hun, so be aware this doesn't even rate as a hack. I'm only putting it here as others may find it usefull. Smile

It may not work for all IPs, but it current implementation appears to work EU IPs for the most part. For example it seems to show me information about your IP without a problem.

Latest version of FUDforum will have a better whois then the old Arin redirect.

Excellent.

As I was clear to point out, I code like Atilla the Hun. I was just offering it out there as I found it usefull. Smile

The arin link never works for me for non US, it allways just points to ripe or the other nics.
