Hi,

Everything is set and I'm ready to start the final migration to FUDForum. Is there an easy way to reinitialize the database to factory settings, without losing/overwriting the templates and settings?

Not really. I suppose you could modify the upgrade script to not touch the templates and just do the SQL upgrades...
