I want the newsgroup integration function to work in FUDforum 2.7.3 but I keep getting following warning:

*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x0000000000a8fee0 ***

is it because a bug in glibc? how to solve this problem? Thank you very much for any suggestions.

it's gonna be tough. i am on a virtual hosting server. what exactly php version needed for nntp to work? thanks alot.

I tried on another virtual hosting server. after i run install.php the script created all files owned by httpd (script execute as apache), even though i have manually created all directories and subdirectories using my uid. the big problem here is i couldn't modify any of the template files owned by httpd. What should I do?

the php version is actually PHP version 4.4.1
is it because of glibc problem? maybe a patch will solve the problem?
