Migration lost ability to open attachments [message #20987]

Thought I did everything right. Brought over the data directory and the db. Everything has run smoothly moving the forum from one box to another. I just discovered that attachements brought over from the old server cannot be read. ran into the first problem

we are talking about the <data>/files directory, correct?

Then you may need to execute the following query:

UPDATE [prefix]attach SET location=REPLACE(location, 'old_files_dir_path', 'new_files_dir_path');
