Hello All,
I'm trying to move from phpBB2 (yuk!) to FUD, and am having some troubles with the convert.

Here is the output of the convert:

Beginning Conversion Process
Reading phpBB2 config
Importing Smilies: 31
Finished Importing Smilies
Importing Avatar Galleries
from: /home/httpd/html-www/forums/images/avatars/gallery/
from: adm
from: help
from: images
from: custom_avatars
from: mime
from: smiley_icons

from: forum_icons
query failed: %( INSERT INTO fud_avatar (img,descr) VALUES('icon10.gif','Resource id #44 icon10.gif') )% because %( Duplicate entry 'icon10.gif' for key 2 )%

I'm not sure what to do at this point. icon10.gif doesn't exist anywhere in my filesystem (unless it is in a db somewhere).

Ideas?

Actually phpBB2 keeps images inside database eeewwww, which is why you cannot find them on disk.
I did find the cause for the problem you are seeing, attached upgrade script should no longer be affected by it.

Hmmm you actually had duplicate images... I see... Allright, no big deal, this one should do the trick.

You know... I still have my original phpBB (1.4.4) database that I could import from if that would be easier...

Nah, the importer works only with phpBB2.
Man I am really careless today, made another typo.

Btw are you installing FUDforum into the same dir phpBB2 was installed in? (not a good idea).

No, I'm installing fresh.

Is importing the user ranks the last thing that the script does, or is that just where it stopped because of the error?


Importing User Ranks (post count based) 3
Couldn't copy user rank image from (/home/httpd/html-www/forums.phpBB2/runroom.gif) to (/usr/local/apache/htdocs/html-www/forums/images/)
