Not the *text* of the post - the moderator notice itself. So if I get a notice that a user has posted to a forum I moderate, and if that poster happens to have posted using (I assume) Finnish encoding, I get this notice via email:

It's not rocket science to figure out what I need to do, of course - but this could probably be more elegant Very Happy

OK, I can live with it then. I have to admit, your own are interesting - what is that, Afrikaans? Very Happy

It actually is kind of exotic; I don't usually get emails in foreign languages unless they're trying to sell me Viagra, watches or wives.

Yes, it's Afrikaans (basically Dutch).

PS: I see JanRei complained about this before. If we are lucky we may be able to convince him to write a patch for us.
