A feature I like in the Webcrossing forum software is the ability for the actual forum software to serve a mailing list, rather than it needing to feed into a mailing list hosted elsewhere, which how I understand fudforum works.

Basically, with webcrossing you give the folder an "email name" and it serves an email list using that name (which can be different from the folder title)

It would be so good if something similar could be incorporated in Fudforum as it makes it so easy to use.

That's where we are going as well.
However, since we don't charge money for FUDforum, you shouldn't expect it any time soon.

Hopefully not at the cost of the existing way it works which is an excellent way of providing a portal to a third party list (when a version with the relevant patch is released)
