I could be wrong here, but here's what I'm seeing:

I'm using the Newsgroup Manager to sync my forum and NNTP. Things seem to be working great as far as the syncronization goes but when I look at how subjects are being encoded this is what I see:

Web Subject: Just trying out another long subject as I experiment

NNTP Subject: =?utf-8?Q?Just=20trying=20out=20an?==?utf-8?Q?other=20?=
=?utf-8?Q?long=20subject=20as=20I=20exp?==?utf-8?Q?eriment?=

The Subject shows up just fine in NNTP but it feels like it should be encoded as:

NNTP Subject: =?utf-8?Q?Just=20trying=20out=20another=20?=
=?utf-8?Q?long=20subject=20as=20I=20experiment?=

For reference, I'm using FUDforum 3.0.3 for the forum and INN 2.5.2 for NNTP. Let me know if I'm totally off base here. Thanks.

Is this when a forum post is sync'ed to the USENET group?

The conversion is done with iconv_mime_encode(), a standard PHP function, so I assume it must be OK.
