Multiple email notifications if there is one new post to a topic [message #168084]

When there is a topic with let's say 6 posts from me, I get 6 email notifications if someone posts a new message at the end of the thread.

Is this a misconfiguration of mine or a bug? How can I get back to one single notification? Any help is highly appriciated.
