FUDforum 3.0.5RC2 is now available for download. Please test it furiously and report your experiences (good or bad) back to this forum.

Changes since the 3.0.5RC1 release include:
  • Restore PATH_INFO and introduced a new PATH_INFO_SEO theme for search engine friendly URL's.
  • Link to quickly reject all posts from a spammer.
  • Introduce new [indent] BBcode tag.
  • Ability to show announcements to only anonymous or logged in users.
  • Rework the ckeditor.plugin.
  • Remove NOT NULL and DEFAULT '0' from fud30_users.reset_key.
  • Introduce theme.ini files. Initial application is to override the traditional inheritance chain. This will allow users to base a theme on another theme, for example to base "twilightgrey" on "path_info_seo" instead of "default".
  • The File Manager ACP can now unzip files.
  • Add 'References:' headers to mailing list emails (by Cpreston).
  • Some other bug fixes.
Details are available at FUDforum 3.0.5.

Enjoy!
Frank

These release candidates, (RC1 and RC2) will be part of a stable 3.0.5 release? I haven't downloaded them because they sound like test releases.

Yes, they are fully functional release candidates (RC).
If you have a production forum, it may be better to wait for the final stable release.
