Hello, everyone. I just installed FUDForum 3.0.4 and I'm having trouble with inline images.
It works as expected in the signature, but not in the message body - it does not display.

The BBCode I'm using is the following.

[img]https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png[/img]

The resultant HTML code is as follows:

Signature

<div class="signature">
<img src="https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png" border="0" alt="https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png">
</div>

Message Body

<span class="MsgBodyText">Sample Text. <br>
<br>
"
[img]"
<a href="https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png">https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png</a>
"[/img]"
<br>
<br>
</span>

What's even more interesting is that if I edit the post, my original BBCode has changed to look like this:

[img][url]https://www.google.com/images/srpr/logo4w.png[/url][/img]

All successive edits keep adding tags.

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Oh, just to add... The results are the same in IE 10.0.9200.16660, and Chrome 29.0.1547.66 m

(of course, I cannot log into the forum using Firefox 23.0.1)

It is a known issue discussed @ http://fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=120986

Please apply the patch, or even better, use the latest 3.0.5RC2 release.

Yeah, If you upgrade to 3.0.5RC2 it disappears

That's really strange...

This is the second time I installed the software*. On the first board, inline images worked perfectly.

I used the exact same install files each time.

I'll give it a try, though!

* - The first one went down in flames when my HDD crashed. Yes, I *KNOW*! I hadn't backed up the VM to a separate physical disk! 8(
