Hello everyone

I just installed FUDforum (seemingly successfully), but when I try to access the "Administration" section of the forum, a "500 Internal Server Error" message opens in a new browser tab.

Do you know of a checklist of the most common problems that might cause this, that I can check first?

Also, I'm not sure what information other forum administrators might want from me if they try to help me trouble-shoot it -- is there some kind of overall log file that would contain all the necessary information?

Should be easy to fix once you have the exact error message.
You'll find it in your web server's error log file.
