Because I really don't care for GIMP, I have created a Photoshop/ImageReady file that will help anyone trying to make their own versions of the buttons containing text.

The buttons are contained in one layer, and the text in another. There are also "slices" set up, so that all you have to do is modify the text and use "Save Optimized" to create the new buttons.

Save your image files into the folder:

data/thm/[theme]/i18n/[language]/img

and then rebuild your forums.

I'm also including my versions of these buttons (as GIF files) which use a more readable font, in my opinion, than the default.

Hi,

If only I knew earlier! We really need an area on this site or a new site to index/document these modifications. It seems that many of us have the same requirements (and problems). Such area/site will save users a lot of time and make FUDforum more usable and popular.

BTW: GIMP can read/modify PSD files as well!

Best regards.

Frank

Tried to open temp.psd with Photoshop 6.0 and Corel Photopaint 11 but did not work.
