Do you know if it's a problem and if it's possible to install FUDForum application on 2 different servers (one to internet, one to intranet) with one database.
Because i'll add a authentification page for internet.
(excuse me for my english)

Just uses different table prefixes.

Sorry, I was badly explained, the database must be common for the
2 "interfaces". Confused

You can install 2 forums separetely and then modify the GLOBALS.php of one the forums to use the database of the other.

But obviously the messages and upload files are not stored in the
database, so the 2 forums will not be identical.


If I was not rather clearly, one of the 2 appli installed in Intranet must make it possible to the guests to visualize the contents of the forum whereas, the other in Internet must oblige all the users to be authenticated to reach the forum. The 2 applis will be installed on 2 different servers for security. Database server is accessible by these 2 servers.

The file data (DATA_DIR) can be put on a commonly accessible server via NFS or SMB, so that it is shared and not particular to any one server.
