if i define some categories or sub categories for certain users, they are are shown to users also if they havent the right for viewing it. would be nice if they are shown only for the allowed group of people.

Categories will only be shown if the user has rights to see @ least one forum inside the category.

i meant in the drop down menu at the bottom of the page (go to forum).

if you moderate for furm and you move a thread the hidden forums are also shown, but there is no access to it.

This is so you can request that a topic be moved to a forum you'd otherwise have no access to, this is intentional.
