Here goes the final release candidate for FUDforum 2.7.4. This release comprises primarily from bug fixes with just a single new feature.

Changes:
  1. Added DBHOST_TBL_PREFIX import to FUDAPI login.
  2. Do not send subscription e-mails to banned users.
  3. Added an option to restrict times between login attempts.
  4. Updated Spanish, French and Finnish translations.
  5. Fixed language selection on theme editor.
  6. Improved e-mail address validation code.
  7. Allow forum_login and fudapi to be used in the same script.
  8. Show maximum file upload size according to PHP on the system info control panel.
  9. Fixed mass-pm to all moderators.
  10. Fixed division by 0 warning when there are very few private messages.
  11. Fixed query failure in data import script.
  12. Allow the admin to choose to store message bodies in the database (not recommended).
  13. Properly select subscribed forums on message navigator.
  14. Only show topics on the "online today" page if user has READ access to the forum.
  15. Added additional characters disallowed list for login and alias names.

*gasp* Storing messages in the database! May I ask what prompted this feature? Also, does that mean ALL of FUDforum's data (minus the settings in GLOBALS.php) can now be stored in the database?

No, just message bodies, the attachements and avatars are still stored on disk. People relying on this functionality will notice it is fair bit slower then disk based storage, but there are some setups where is more convenient as far as multi-server distributions. For example instances where the forum is hosted by serveral web server and data sharing via NFS or SMB is not possible.

Storing binary data in a database never really crosses my mind Smile I was referring to everything except such things as avatars and attachments. That is good to hear though. This is a welcome feature.
