Hi,
when running eGW installation tests I get error:
"Checking file-permissions of ./fudforum for not world writable: estud/estud drwxr-xrwx
./fudforum is world writable !!!"

Permissions of fudforum folder are set to 557. I've tried a lot of other combinations but none of them is working. How can I solve this problem?

I've seen the same question as mine on this forum and answer (eGW bug), but it's more than 1 year old, so I hope that eGW doesn't have that bug anymore and that this problem can be solved. I really don't like eGW standard forum and would like to install FUDforum...

Change the permissions to 777.

I still get the same error message. The other two file-permissions are ok:

Passed Checking file-permissions of . for not world writable: estud/estud drwxrwxr-x
This might take a while, please wait ...

Error Checking file-permissions of ./fudforum for not world writable: estud/estud drwxrwxrwx
./fudforum is world writable !!!

Passed Checking file-permissions of fudforum for writable by the webserver: estud/estud drwxrwxrwx

Any other suggestion? Thanks.

You can safely ignore the world writable warning message.
