Hello,

I have this large system management application, that has a web based interface written in PHP. What happens is that if the user presses escape while the server is processing something, the webserver will kill the php process, interrupting it in teh middle, and leaving it in an inconsistent state. i need to disable this.

That is, the php process should continue even if the web browser user has cancelled the connection. Is there some way i can do it in PHP or apache/lighttpd?

I would really really appreciate any help.

Thanks.
