why i cannot add a new Category of Forum [message #159809]

when i add a new category named "design"
and click the button "Add Category",it display in the Admin Control panel.but when i return to the forum.

It is not displayed. why?

I have installed it over and over. the installation 5/5 is ok.

Have you added a forum in the category? If I remember right it does not display unless it has something to display. also check if your permissions are set to see those that are there.

These are both mistakes I have made.

Just to add, this behaviour is documented at http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/Category_Management_System -

"WARNING: Empty categories without forums won't appear in the forum's index page."
