We are running a quite large fudforum in German language. There is an interest to bridge to a new installation of ELGG to take advantage of ELGG´s features like "personal homepages" and "personal blogs" or "personal galleries"

ELGG (http://elgg.org/) is an open source social community software, which is under nice development for some years now.

Both software do have possibilities to bridge to other software (for example ELGG to phpBB [ http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/SGr33n/read/21142/phpbb3-integration-p lugin] and fudforum was integrated into Drupal), so should work.

FUDFORUM is quite open to this (http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/Category:Integration), also ELGG (http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/REST_API)

What I´m looking for is a bridge, which will automatically add (and probably also modify and delete) users for FUDFORM and ELGG, when subscribing in each of the places.

Also it would be nice that authentication would be the same, so doing a login in one of the 2 would also work for the other one.

Easy is a button in Fudforum to link to the personal profile in ELGG, as long as ID is same. I have done this already.

As I´m myself not an experienced coder I would hire someone, guess the cost would be in the range of 100-200 $

So for the moment I´m looking for other people, who
- are interested to share cost OR work OR
- have some suggestions / ideas about this topic OR
- have already something available which could help

to combine these two nice pieces of software

Yes, in principle this can be done with fudapi.

But I want to do this with 2 different Domains on different locations of the server. So as far as I have seen this does not work with the API.

Anyhow I did already solve the first majour step (http://fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=119157&start=0&)
