Hi Cool
I'm wanting to import old messages from various formats in to FUDforum. These include:

* mailing list messages in mbx/toc files - including digests that need to be split into individual messages.
* usenet posts archived on Google Groups
* usenet posts archived in whatever formats popular newsreaders used to store downloaded posts, if we can't get them out of Google and alternative archives can be tracked down
* a Yuku.com forum
* a groups.yahoo.com email archive

Can anyone help with any of these? Thanks!

FUDforum has importers for anything you can access via XML feeds, NNTP and Mail (pipe, pop3, imap). For the rest you will have to write small helper scripts. For example, look at this one importing messages from a MBOX folder: http://cvs.prohost.org/index.php/FudBOX.php

Thanks! That doesn't look too tricky to adapt, at least for the mbx files, once I get a bit of time to spare for it. Much appreciated.
