if a user uploads his on avatar, he don't see it in his profil, is that correct ?

i use fudforum 3.0.0

It depends, if Avatar Approval is required your avatar will be queued until an admin approves it.

i am the admin and i have approved it already, i see my new avatar in this forum but not in my forum. any idea what is wrong in my forum ?

Custom and uploaded avatars are correctly displayed everywhere, except in the user's "Account Settings". You are welcome to develop a patch for us, but I don't intend fixing it (sorry!).
