I read about a similar problem here http://fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=119420&start=0& but mine was sqlite
So i sed the admin panel and backed up then imported again. Because googling revealed this is how sqlite can be repaired, backup and restore.

Now there is only one problem I have category and in this category there are 5 forums right now, but only displays. I have checked the group manager and permissions are all set same as other forums, they all show but these 4 dont. this only happens in one category. any help please?

Try to run the consistency checker (in the ACP).

What version are you running, 3.0.0 or 3.0.1?

I've just registered on your site and everything works as expected.

Please explain to us in detail what the problem is. What do I need to do to see it?

thanks naudefj for helping me and responding so fast. I know its free software so I should not ask for much. I was able to fix the permissions. Seems like giving the anonymous group in group management all the relevant permission does not work. I have to select each and every forum and edit the anon user.

There are a couple of things going on. I am able to fix them one at a time. I can give you admin access to see the error logs and also try to add me "Vangel" as a group leader. Last I checked it gave me Fatal Error. I have done consistency check and sql optimize many times bu the result is same.

I will set your status to admin. go to groups and then select manage leaders. In the next page you get to search a user. enter a username, any, and you will see fata error. Also see my log files and sql log. I do not want you to waste time on this. Whatever you can do please try. I will send you virtual cake and beer ^^

thank you sooo much Smile
p.s. i set you up as admin.

OK, I've logged on:

1. Most of the errors you see in the error log are trivial and can be ignored.

2. When trying to add group leaders, SQLite gives error "cannot commit transaction - SQL statements in progress". This is obviously a bug!

I'll get back to you on pt 2 later.

Regards.

.. and yeah the RSS feed is bugged. It dumps the feed.php file for download to the browser, when i open the file the feed content is there. But for some reason maybe the header is not being sent? i tried other site feeds and they display in browsers feed reader ok.

No directly no. You will have to setup external mailing lists (one per forum) and use the Mailing List Manager to sync your forms with the lists.

Can you please give us an example of one that works and a FUDforum feed that doesn't?

Here is a patch for the SQLite problem:
http://fudforum.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fudforum/tags/fud3_0_1/install/f orum_data/sql/pdo_sqlite/db.inc?r1=4945&r2=4998

After applying it, you need to rebuild your themes.

I don't have a working one atm. You can see in the same forum all RSS feeds are bugged. they push to the browser as download. and are marked as feed.php file.

here is one that is RDF and works
http://images.gonzb.com/newsbb/rdf.php?mode=m&l=1&basic=1&frm=5 &n=10

older fud install.

thanks for the patch too, ill try it tonight.
