This is not really a bug, but the forum failed for me. It turns out that I cannot upload a large attachment file, as the PHP say I cannot POST larger than some PHP-POST-size-limit.

I was wondering how to upload a large file; if some javascript shall be used to slice the file and upload the file in parts.

I have no problem; I simply adjusted the PHP file limit, and uploaded the file.

Yes, it's easy enough to change the parameters (post_max_size & upload_max_filesize in php.ini).
A programmatic solution won't be practical.
