Say for example I have "My forum my way" installed on myway.com and they have "their forum their way" installed on theirway.com could these two installations be merged into a single installation?

Even better could posts made on a FUDforum2go appliance be merged with an existing forum and it threads?

I have been asked if I could provide laptop access to a local area forum for the temporary use of users who otherwise have no computer access, at an event where there is no internet access.

So far the only solution I can see is backing up the online forum and closing it for the duration of the event, restoring the backup to the FUDforum2go appliance on the laptop and after the event restoring the backup from the FUDforum2go appliance to the online forum and I'm not even sure how that would work.
