It would be useful to be able to switch Mailing Lists on and off. Currently they can be updated or deleted from the Mailing List admin page. However it would be useful to disable them rather than have to put in some other email address or delete them in order to prevent them from being executed.

You can disable import jobs from the Job Manager.
Alternatively, comment them from your crontab file of whatever scheduler you use.
