Can this be done?

My tech guy is currently heavily upgrading our forum and i would like the forum language/buttons etc to be in latin if possible.

Obviously i would like the posts and the like to be in English.

Can this be done? If so how to go about it?

The tech guy has a fairly good knowledge so if its tricky it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

You can translate FUDforum's messages to Latin at
http://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-fudf orum&language=la

When done, you just copy the messages to your forum's data/thm/default/i18n/la (la==Latin) directory. We also ship all languages that are more than 40% translated with new FUDforum releases.

Can FUDforum's messages be translated to other languages except Latin???

Why would you need to get them translated into Latin?
