Hello,

First, thanks for the GPL licence on the FUD Fourm and please excuse my poor english.

I'm trying to install a forum as an archive for a mailing list (using the cronjob way :i can't pipe mail).

Here's what i have done so far :

- in the mailing list parameters, force the answer to the list

- install FudForum

- create an email address to get the mail from the list

- suscribe the new adress to the list

- create members in the forum with the mailing list adress & the adress i use for testing the ML

- create a mailing list rule in FudForum (with verified mail parameter : i've copied them in Thunderbird and it worked)

- create a cronjob set to "maillist.php 1" (PHP is at /usr/bin/php and register_argc_argv is set to 1)

What's working :
- the forum
- posts in the forum are sent to the list
- the cronjob
----------------------------------------------------------
Date Wed Jul 4 09:00:16 CEST 2012
Adresse (...)/forum/scripts/maillist.php 1
Resultat OK
Detail HTTP/1.1 200 OK
----------------------------------------------------------

I still dont have the "mail to forum" , and i'm out of idea, what did i miss?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello again,

It seems the trouble come from the CLI : I can't access it on my hosted service.

So i change the maillist.php, replacing the $_SERVER['argv'][1] with a traditionnel GET.

Now everything works, i put my file here if it can help someone.
This is a dirty hack, use it only if your hosting service dont allow pipe or acces to CLI.

Note that after replacing the file the path in the cron must be "/scripts/maillist.php?regleml=1"
instead of "/scripts/maillist.php 1".

Thanks! I never thought people would use it like this. Anyway, I'll see if I can accommodate your changes in the next 3.1.x release.
