Hi,

I want that URLs at a forum were in a look
fudforum.org/fudforum-announcements/plugin-writing-contest
instead of
fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=119834&start=0&

Then opened General Management -> Global Settings Manager -> URL & directories

Then changed "Use PATH_INFO style URLs" flag to yes. But, URLs, as before, in a format:
fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=119834&start=0&

You need to use this setting in combination with a path info theme:

In Global Settings Manager: "Note that you also need to enable a theme based on the 'path_info' template set."

And you need to have PATH_INFO enabled in your Apache config. This is all covered in the FAQ:

Frequently_Asked_Questions: Can I change the URL format 2 use SEO_URLs?
