Hi:

I am looking for a small team at work to setup a forum to manage project. Ideally, i would like it to be exactly like a newsgroup in the sense messages are threaded (tree) and it keeps tracks of messages already read.

I have noted that FUDForum does the threaded (tree) but I have not been able to notice if there is a read message capacity.
Can I access FUDForum (installed on the LAN at work) with thunderbird newsreader for example?
If not, do anyone know a concept of a newsgroup to install locally (to behave like a usenet around threaded (tree) and keeping track of read messages)?

Thanks.

Donald
