Oh, don't forget about problems with nntp I told you some months ago. I talk about code page conversion when importing or exporting messages when there is KOI in news and WIN on web site. And I don't know about other Fido servers, but fido7.ru obliges to use a 'magic number': a secret number that must be added to 'from' field. This number is used to identify a user. The fidogate cuts this number when sends message to newsgroup. The problem is forum doesn't have a field where to store this number and I can only import Fido messages Sad

Well, I guess he hints at Yahoo! groups: in addition to discussion board they have gallery, chat; file, links, database sharing system and a calendar.

I think this moves far beyond forum... but who knows. What if we unite FUD forum, Yahoo groups and Live-Journal? Wink
