Ok , I am new to all this..I had a threaded forum on my brothers site and after he passed I had someone set me up a phpbb on my own server. My members hate it. They think it is complicated and want an easy threaded forum where they can upload pics to meassages easily.
I am reading asll this and not understanding it but seems like something I need to check into.
How does a converter work? Does it transfer all the info from the old forum to the new or actually replace the old? How complicated is it to perform these actions? How exactly do I do it? are there instructions to do this somewhere?
I am curious and excited to know.
Thanks for your answers and help.

The converter effectively dumps the data from your phpbb forum into FUDforum. You still have a fully working old phpbb plus now you get a FUDforum with all of the data from the older forum.
