How about implement invitation mechanism like orkut or gmail, as well as simple registration?

Registration is already as simple as it can possibly get, only 4 fields are required.

You can use the e-mail to friend feature to invite people to the forum.

What I mean is implement a way that only people who invited by forum member could get registrated, like orkut or gmail.
And yes, the registration is already as simple as it can possibly be. Smile

You can enable a option that will require every new user to be confirmed by the admin before their account is activated.
