Would it be possible to have the possibility to lock topics that are older than a certain date?

The idea is to have something similar to topic prunning, but, instead of removing the topics, it would just lock them, in order to avoid having new posts in old topics.

You can certainly add this functionality in your own forum, however there are no plans to include this in the stand distribution.
