Specifically? And is the problem isolated to a few files or all .png files?

Windows can't display the png images in this folder which could be related to the fact that they are marked as "Text/ASCII" in my CVS client.

I've set the binary flag on those files again, see if that does the trick.

My ISP reduced the max_execution_time to 10 seconds, which is apparently not enough for FUDforum. Is there a way for me or for you to make the forum useable anyway?

The forum pages take way less then 10 seconds to execute, even theme building takes less then 10 seconds. On what page are you seeing the error?

On install.php from step one to step two, the unpacking always needed something between 20 and 30 seconds on this server.

UPDATE:
It seems that it was a problem with the server (that lastet very long). FUDforum is now running fine. Thank you for your help.
