First at all: Is it possible?

I'm really pissed off of the woltlab-software. Nothing works and you need to ask 1000s of questions in the supportforum (if your getting in at all) when you don't know PHP. (As I don't Sad )

What will I have to do to convert the forum with all its former postings?

Is there the possibility to convert the design, too?

It would be fine, if someone could answer fast, because of some stupid reason the forum doesn't accept new user and that's really bad. Sad

Problem in step 2:

FATAL ERROR: your MySQL account does not have permissions to run LOCK queries on existing MySQL tables
Enable this functionality and restart the script.

I wrote "localhost" in the first line (Host - The IP address (or unix domain socket) of the database server.) Is it wrong?

The error is clear, your user account does not have permissions to execute LOCK queries. Contact your administrator and ask that they enable this functionality for your account.
