OK I tried to work this out but i don't have enough priviliges to GRANT

GRANT LOCK TABLES ON daname.* TO danielmd(at)mysql25(dot)secureserver(dot)net IDENTIFIED BY 'password';

i get this message
#1044 - Access denied for user: 'danielmd@%' to database 'daname'.

What do i do now?

You need to ask your admin to run this command for you because you do not have permissions to do so yourself

They will not do it.

So if you want FUDForum stay away from Godaddy for Hosting service. They are very unflexible.
