Currently all additional line within

is removed in the actuall message.
I think letting the user decide where he wants to make new lines would give him more formatting possibilities.

Looking at the code it seems FUDforum replaces
(new lines) with spaces. I don't see why we need to retain that functionality, but I must admit I am a little weary of just going forward with the change this close to the final release.

Perhaps you can adjust your forum's post_proc.inc.t to not do this replacement and let me know if any issues arise from the change in actual user environment. If all goes well, something to definitely consider for the next release.

Although I am currently only running a development forum, I didn't see any issues. According to my tests the actual message looks like the user has typed it into the input box.

Well, I just removed the substitution of
, but I don't know whether I found all places that need to be changed.
