Blank page when anyone tries to login????? [message #34289]

Last night we started getting white pages with error messages when submitting posts, but the posts would go through though you'd be stuck on the white page.

Then later, no ones cookies were working so the login page showed up for everyone. When you login, it takes you to a white blank page and that is it.

Can't access Admin panel because of this either.

Nothing has been changed anywhere....no software changes and no server changes.

Version 2.7.6 www.wf4bm.net

Any help appreciated!

This appears to have been related to the forum database. After I located the logs which FUDforum was updating it was producing errors about being unable to update the database. Inspection showed that it has been creating many temporary tables and not removing them afterwards. I created a dump of your database, and cleared out several dozen of these and did a repair/optimize for good measure.

This is what a friend did to repair it.

What causes this??????

Are you using persistent connections in your FUDforum preferences?

If you are this should fix the problem.
