I was just involved in quite an active topic on linuxquestions.org, which I think uses vbulletin, and I noticed that when I am subscribed to a thread, I get a notification if somebody replies to it. However, I am not notified of subsequent replies to the thread, until after my next visit. Does that make sense?

So, essentially, you only notify that there has been a response since the users last visit to the forum - not every single time there is a response.

If this is already in the options somewhere, sorry - I did not see it.

If you use "Smart Notification" in FUDforum that is how it works.
