After upgrading to FUDforum v2.7.7 Release Candidate #2 I now have the message:

Undergoing maintenance, please come back later.
Administrators can login here



When I enter my admin password it just reloads the same page.
How do I regain access to the control panel to bring my site back?

Are you certain that the admin password you are using is correct? You can re-enable the forum by tweaking the GLOBALS.php file inside the include directory by removing the 1 bit from the $FUD_OPT_1 config bitmask

Thanks for your reply,
In the end I got back in by using path: www.forum.com/adm

If I put the forum out of action I still can't log in with my usual admin password.
Consistency check is fine and normal login is ok
- strange, but not critical.
