My users have requested a feature that would allow them to add details into a page about their cars etc. and have them display inside a sub-forum ie Members Rides.

Similar to this:

Is it possible to add something like this to FUD ?

It exists for Vbulletin: http://www.cpurigs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2056

I have already added a way for them to use a photo gallery using a free app called gallery1 ( http://gallery.sourceforge.net ) which handles the photos and thumbnailing / resizing.

Well, to add this would be pretty simple.

1) Modify the users table with an extra field to store this data.
2) Modify registration form register.tmpl and users_reg.inc.t to store this field
3) Modify usrinfo.tmpl to show the data from said field.
