Hallo,

I wonder if there is any possibility to hide the "over-13-check" at the registration. Is it given by law that such a question must be asked? A customer maintains a moderated forums in which the administrators have to confirm new users.

It's some silly stuff that the US government wants web pages to have. It's called the COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). If you want to disable it, just go to the Admin CP and disable the COPPA in the General Settings Manager.

As about your question whether COPPA is needed on your page or not:
