I wonder if (m)any other people use this feature?
Have it working, but threads on the newserver are "flat", and not properly threaded. Wonder if its something wrong with my newserver, however posts direct to the newserver thread properly.

The threading is done based on NNTP headers typically included inside each newserver message to indicate message association. If those headers are not present or non-standard the forum can't tell if message is a new topic or not.

its the messages being sent by posts to the HTML forum. They don't look properly threaded on the newserver.
Wonder what newservers you have tested with? Hence if its a problem with my choice of newserver?

The code has been developed based on NNTP spec and tested with 5 different servers where the code has worked.

I don't have them handy anymore, it was done years ago. I can however tell you that nntp.php.net was one of them.

We are just having another go at getting this working.
Correct threading is still not working, sometimes it does, but mostly not. We cannot see a reason why sometimes it works and sometimes not.
Pretty consistent is that if you start a new topic with a post to newserver it never appears on the forum.
Do you have any suggestions of logs/configuration options we should look at?
Would you be interested in trying to integrate one of your test forums with our newserver for a little while to test? So we can eliminate that its a problem with our FUD setup
