I downloaded and attempted to install the _upgrade_ version of FUDForum 2.5.0RC3 over my existing version of FUDForum 2.3.8. The Upgrade screen said it worked ok. And the consistency checker ran. After that, however, I get this problem....

Parse error: parse error in /www/html/neutron.intranet.net/FUDforum2/forum/include/GLOBALS.php on line 152

Fatal error: SQL Error has occurred, please contact the administrator of the forum and have them review the forum's SQL query log in /www/html/neutron.intranet.net/FUDforum2/index.php on line 56

Any ideas? Nothing else has changed on the server.

Somehow your GLOBALS.php ended up missing ?> at the end of the file.
Add '?>' to the end of the file and the problem should go away. Strange error, since Ii've just upgraded 2 forums (including this one) to RC3 release and have not encountered this problem.

Coolness. Fixed that.When I try to rebuild the Search Index, I get....

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fud_use() in /www/html/neutron.intranet.net/FUDforum2/adm/indexdb.php on line 21

And when I try to Compact the message bases, I get...

They both have ?> at the end of them.
