the tree view for the forum is different than the tree view of the posts: the tree view of the msg shows all the posts ( 7 posts including the first post ) while the view of the posts only shows the first 4 posts (including the first post ).
I did delete a post but I think it was the last one (number 7).

In order not to make a page a complete mess there is an admin option called "Maximum Depth of Thread Listing (tree view)", which sets the maximum tree depth. You do not see the entire tree increase the value of that option.
