1. In forum settings default view set to "tree", in user profile - the same. BUT every time user opens a forum he can see posts in "flat" view first.
2. After switching from "flat" to "tree" info about "new" posts gone.

I'll look into the tree/flat view problem (need to verify it with RC6).
As far as the read status, that's actually intended behaviour, when you load a page with messages all messages on that page get marked read. So if your topic has only 1 page worth of messages and you view it twice on the 2nd viewing there will no longer be any new/unread messages in that topic.

That's because the other 2 options are not avaliable because you do not allow threaded topic view in the forum. Once you enable it, users will have 2 additional options regarding the default view in their profiles.

Like I said before, you need to turn on threaded topic viewing via the admin control panel. This is the "Allow Tree View of Thread Listing" option.
